Help Reduce Pain And Get Relief From Arthritis
By Sandra Fierling

Anaprox is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (also called NSAID). Anaprox is highly efficient in reducing the inflammation caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, gout, spondylitis, menstrual cramps, tendonitis, dysmenorrheal, and bursitis but it also helps to combat the pain caused by these conditions. Anaprox consists mainly of naproxen sodium which you can also find under other names, such as Aleve, Naprogesic, Naprosyn, Naprelan, and Synflex.

Anaprox is a highly sensitive drug and you can often only obtain this with a medical prescription and under a doctor's supervision. Should Anaprox be taken on your own, without the advice of the doctor, it could lead to symptons like heart attack and stroke - these can be fatal.

If you have history of inflammation of the stomach or intestine, then Anaprox should not be taken as it acts as a tranquilizer. Also, it should not be mixed with any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) as side effects could be experienced. Anaprox is also not recommended if you have or have had ulcerative colitis, liver, and kidney disease. It is important that you have frequent checkups with your doctor if you take Anaprox on a regular basis.

Side Effects of Anaprox:

Like any drug, Anaprox can have side effects. They can include abdominal cramps, pain, diarrhea, drowsiness, headache, indigestion and vomiting. However such effects are normally mild. Other common effects can include change of taste, gastric troubles, irregular appetites, profuse sweating and hot flashes, dryness of mouth, anxiety and frequent trembling and insomnia. If you have pain in the bladder, excessive bleeding from cuts, painful urination, blurring of vision, forgetfulness, depression, hallucinations, or swelling of the eyes, lips, and tongue, then please stop using this medicine and consult a doctor immediately.

Some of the rare side effects can include tarry stools, seizures, sores, nosebleeds and vomiting of blood. Should this happen, please consult a doctor immediately as such symptoms could lead to heart ailments. Patients who have had heart bypass surgery or are scheduled to have heart bypass surgery should not use Anaprox.

It is strongly recommended to take the correct dosage of Anapox. Failure to do so could lead to congestive heart failure and ulcers. Also, while using Anapox, Please avoid alcohol, diuretics, heparin, and potassium supplements.

It is very important that Anaprox users consult their doctor and strictly adhere to dosing instructions. You could risk serious side effects if the dosage used is not the recommended one. When taking Anaprox please be ware of its potential side effects.
